The first time I saw Constantine from above, I had one question:

Who decided to build a city here? 😅

Buildings sit dramatically above steep cliffs, with a deep gorge cutting through the city.

And to get from one side to the other?

You cross its bridges.

Standing on one of them feels almost unreal.

A city around you.

Rock beneath you.

And a dramatic gorge far below.

That's when I understood why Constantine is famously known as the City of Bridges.

But what fascinated me most was that these bridges aren't simply tourist attractions.

They're part of the city's identity.

There's a town where the mountains seem to embrace the sea. 🇲🇪

The moment I arrived in Kotor...

I stopped walking.

Not to take a photo.

Just to take it all in.

Towering mountains rising straight out of the water.
It didn't feel real.

As I wandered through the Old Town, every narrow alley led to another hidden corner.

Ancient stone walls.

Wooden doors.
Tiny squares filled with history.

Then I learned something surprising.

Many people think the Bay of Kotor is a Norwegian-style fjord.

The most surprising thing I found in this town... was pepper. 🌿

When I arrived in Kampot, I expected a quiet riverside town.

But every local I spoke to gave me the same recommendation.

"Try the pepper."

Honestly...
I couldn't understand the hype.
Travel all this way...
For pepper?

Then I visited one of the local farms.
That's when I learned Kampot pepper is considered one of the world's finest, served in Michelin-starred restaurants and prized by chefs around the globe.

It reminded me that not every destination becomes famous because of skyscrapers or beaches.
Sometimes...

A single plant is enough to put an entire town on the map.
Now every time I reach for pepper...
I think of Kampot.

This town was so beautiful... another country built a copy of it. 🇦🇹

When I arrived in Hallstatt, I immediately understood why people called it one of Europe's most beautiful villages.
A quiet lake.

Wooden houses.
Mountains rising behind every rooftop.
But the most surprising part wasn't the scenery.
It was discovering that China built a full-scale replica inspired by Hallstatt.
Not a movie set.
Not a theme park.
An entire town.

Walking through the original, it all made sense.
Every corner looked like a postcard.
Even the morning fog felt like it belonged in a fairytale.
Some places become famous because they're huge.
Hallstatt became famous because people wanted to recreate its beauty.

But some things...
Only the original can truly capture.



في مدينة كاملة... الصين بنت منها نسخة. 🇦🇹

لما وصلت هالشتات، كنت مستغرب ليش الناس بتحكي عنها بهالطريقة.
بحيرة هادية.
بيوت خشبية.
وجبال كأنها مرسومة.
بس أغرب إشي عرفته...
إن جمال هالمدينة وصل لدرجة إن الصين بنت منها نسخة بالحجم الحقيقي تقريبًا.
مش فيلم.
ولا ديكور.
مدينة كاملة مستوحاة منها.
وأنا أمشي بين الشوارع، فهمت ليش.
كل زاوية بتحسها لوحة.
حتى الضباب الصبح كان يعطي المكان إحساس كأنه خارج من قصة خيالية.
بعض المدن بتشتهر لأنها كبيرة.

أما هالشتات...
فصارت مشهورة لأنها كانت جميلة لدرجة الناس حاولوا يعيدوا صنعها.
بس في رأيي... النسخة الأصلية إلها سحر مستحيل يتكرر.
