Why does the heart feel lighter in Karbala?

You arrive carrying things no one knows about.

The duas you’ve been waiting on.
The grief you’ve learned to hide.
The weight of life.
The sins you wish you could undo.

Then you stand before Hussain…

And somehow, the heart knows it has found a place where it can put everything down.

Perhaps that is why we miss Karbala before we’ve even left.

Karbala — where tired hearts come to rest.

May Allah keep our hearts attached to Hussain and write our names among his visitors again and again.

السلام عليك يا أبا عبد الله

How blessed are we to have a Lord whose mercy is greater than everything we have done.

We fall short. We make mistakes. We carry sins known only to Him.

Yet the door of forgiveness remains open.

We ask.
He forgives.
We return.
He welcomes us.

And sometimes, in the midst of all our shortcomings, He honours us with invitations we could never deserve — to Madinah, to Makkah, to stand before His Sacred House.

What an honour to belong to a Lord so Merciful.

Ya Allah, forgive us. Have mercy on us. And never allow our sins to become a barrier between us and You.

اللهم اغفر لنا وارحمنا وتب علينا إنك أنت التواب الرحيم

Samarra carries a legacy unlike any other.

Beneath this golden dome rest two Imams whose lives protected the message through some of its most difficult years.

Imam Ali al-Hadi (ع)
Imam Hasan al-Askari (ع)

And this sacred city carries another connection that makes the heart tremble…

Samarra is the home of our awaited Imam.

The place tied to the final chapter we are still waiting to witness.

May Allah grant us the honour of returning to Samarra — and may we live to see the day its streets welcome Sahib al-Zaman (ع).

السلام عليكم يا أئمة سامراء

Some doors we approach carrying things we can’t explain to anyone else.

And then there is the door of Abbas.

The refuge of the helpless.
The hope of the desperate.
The name whispered when the heart has nowhere else to turn.

Perhaps that’s why standing beneath his dome feels the way it does.

You arrive carrying so much…
and somehow leave feeling like Abbas knows.

يا أبا الفضل العباس، أدركني

O Abal Fadhl Abbas, come to my aid.

May Allah grant every heart longing for Karbala the honour of standing before him. 🤍

Islam remembers Hussain.

Because when everything was at stake, he refused to let truth be rewritten.

He gave Karbala everything he had — his family, his companions, his blood, his life.

And from that sacrifice came an awakening that still lives in the hearts of millions.

Hussain — the savior of Islam.

Every dome. Every tear. Every step toward Karbala carries the memory of what he stood for.

السلام عليك يا أبا عبد الله

May we live with the courage to stand for the values Hussain gave everything to protect.

There may be no better place to celebrate his birth than in the city that still carries his presence. ﷺ

Madinah on Milad al-Nabi. 🤍

Together with our group, sending salawāt, sharing beautiful moments, and walking through the city of the one we love.

There’s a happiness in Madinah that’s difficult to explain. And on the birth of Rasulullah ﷺ, it feels even more special to reminisce on our journey.

May Allah keep bringing us back to his city, with people we love, for years to come.

اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد

Milad al-Nabi Mubarak 🌙

The day mercy entered this world. ﷺ

A light was born in Makkah that would reach every corner of the earth.

Muhammad ﷺ

The name we hear in every adhān.
The name we send our salām upon every day.
The Prophet who taught us how to worship, how to forgive, how to love — and left us holding firmly to the Qur’an and his Ahlulbayt.

Today, let your home hear salawāt a little louder.

اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد

May Allah fill our hearts with the love of Muhammad ﷺ and grant us his companionship in the Hereafter.

Mawlid Mubarak 🤍

To understand the love of Ali, look at the one who loved him.

Muhammad ﷺ loved Ali.

He grew up beside him.
He stood with him.
He trusted him.
He called him his brother.

And today, more than fourteen centuries later, millions see the golden dome of Najaf and their hearts still whisper the same name:

علي

What an honour to love the one whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved so dearly.

السلام عليك يا أمير المؤمنين
