𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮!

Over the years, one lesson has stayed with me from both my Master's studies and my professional career:

Almost everything we create is built upon something that already existed.

A business strategy may be inspired by another company.
A process may be adapted from a mentor's advice.
A project may incorporate ideas gathered from colleagues, consultants, books, articles, conferences, or increasingly today, AI.

Innovation is rarely about creating something from nothing.

More often, it is about combining existing ideas, experiences, and knowledge in a better way.

One thing I learned during my Master's program was the importance of references. Every project, dissertation, and research paper required us to acknowledge the sources that contributed to our thinking.

Even the world's best-selling books often dedicate entire sections to references, acknowledgements, and credits.

Yet in business, people sometimes hesitate to acknowledge where ideas came from. Perhaps they fear that others will undervalue their contribution if they admit they received advice, sought guidance, or built upon someone else's work.

I have come to believe the opposite.

Giving credit does not diminish your achievement.

It demonstrates confidence, humility, and respect for the people and knowledge that helped you get there.

No successful person builds entirely alone.

Every achievement is a combination of lessons learned, guidance received, mistakes made, and ideas borrowed and improved along the way.

The real skill is not pretending an idea is entirely yours.

The real skill is turning inspiration into ex*****on.

What are your thoughts? Do leaders gain more respect by giving credit, or by claiming ownership of every idea?

Our Executive Director, Mr. Nadir Kalappan, writes

"The logistics industry moves fast, but meaningful progress still begins with people sitting around the same table.

It was a pleasure to join fellow shipping agents and freight forwarders at the Hutchison Ports Jazan gathering in Jeddah.

The conversations were valuable, the perspectives were diverse, and the opportunities ahead are even more exciting."

When oversized and specialized cargo is involved, there is no room for error.

A customs delay, improper handling, or the wrong transport equipment can leave your cargo stranded, disrupt critical operations, trigger contractual penalties, and cost you your customer.

Need to move oversized project cargo across borders without compromising safety or project timelines?

When heavy project cargo is involved, there are no second chances. Improper lashing, the wrong trailer selection, or delays in survey approvals can stop a shipment before it even leaves the port, resulting in costly downtime, contractual penalties, and disrupted project schedules.

Our customer needed to transport 12 pump skids weighing a combined 173,900 KGS from Germany to Kuwait via Jeddah Seaport. KiLFAD LOGISTICS SAUDI ARABIA successfully completed the transit clearance, transport planning, trailer allocation, lashing in compliance with Marine Survey requirements, cross border transportation, and dedicated operational coordination throughout the movement.

Despite an industry-wide shortage of specialized transport equipment, KiLFAD successfully mobilized 9 trailers simultaneously, including 6 lowbed trailers and 3 flatbed trailers. Every lashing arrangement, trailer selection, and loading procedure was executed in strict accordance with the approved Method Statement, securing the Marine Survey approval required for the shipment to continue safely to Kuwait.

For your next project cargo, transit, or RoRo movement, send your RFQ to [email protected]
