We are looking for an effective Purchasing Agent to assist the selection and purchase of goods and services by gathering and screening information about products, prices, and suppliers.
This is a team-oriented role and you’ll be working closely with other people from the company in order to pick the best products and to take the right decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate suppliers on the basis of the price, quality and speed of delivery of their products and services;
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones;
• Learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers;
• Analyze price proposals and other information to determine reasonable prices;
• Contracts negotiation;
• Work out agreements with suppliers, such as when products will be delivered, payment terms;
• Ensure about on time delivery conditions;
• Assist the manager in organizing and implementing the strategies;
• Communicate well with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications;
• Embrace the role of researcher in order to find best solutions;
• Evaluate the progress of the projects:
• Perform important administrative functions, which might include: updating the project schedule, making phone calls, responding to e-mails;
