Our colleague Rogier drove from Diemen to Prague and back via The Hague in the new, full electric Mercedes eActros of Koninklijke Saan BV for KURIOS by Cirque du Soleil. A great way to find out if this machine is also suitable for long, international journeys. Check out his experiences in this vlog!

Tonight is the premiere of the show KURIOS by Cirque du Soleil in The Hague. Last week, we handled the move of the big top show from the Czech Republic to the Netherlands. We used the new fully electric Mercedes eActros from Koninklijke Saan BV. The electric car fits perfectly with the circus’s sustainability strategy and provided us with a great opportunity to gain experience with international trips using this new addition! KURIOS will be at Malieveld until January 4th. Afterward, we will manage the move to Sevilla.

A farewell greeting.
It all began early 2020. First the RAH in London, then to Moscow. Unfortunately the pandamic kicked in, so Luzia returned to the Netherlands to go in storage. Late 2021 Luzia started up again. Up to Wakefield, then in the winter of 2022 again the RAH in London. After the RAH it went to "Le Grand Chapiteau", which we moved around Europe. Last week Luzia finished in Europe. The show is on his way to Seoul, the big top for a short storage back to the Netherlands! Ready for the next show.. Stay tuned!

WE HAVE BIG NEWS!!

We can announce that SAAN Trucking & Fly by Nite Conferences have combined forces to form a new Dutch company each with 50% ownership. The new company is named SAAN FBN Europe. This with immediate effect.

We will have operating centers based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Tilburg) and Romania (Cluj-Napoca) and expect soon to announce the addition of one in Germany. All vehicles will as soon as practicably possible share the current FBN livery.

This is an exciting move forwards and will offer FBN clients an unparalleled level of continuity and comfort given the restrictions facing UK registered vehicles when travelling into Europe. Equally, this innovative move will secure SAAN clients of the bespoke services from Fly by Nite while touring the UK.

Initially over the coming months SAAN FBN Europe will support both SAAN and FBN clients in what promises to be a hugely busy year of touring. As fleet numbers increase SAAN FBN Europe will look to develop new relationships with European based productions and supply companies.

With the introduction of the SAAN FBN Europe fleet, together with Fly By Nite Europe Limited (this based out of Dublin), our initial numbers of 'European ready' trucks will initially number 120.
