I wanted to share this view of the Turag River with my international friends to show you a side of Bangladesh that words often fail to describe. Our country is born from the delta, meaning water is woven into everything we do—our music, our poetry, and our daily lives.
When the rains come, the entire world seems to slow down. The air smells of fresh earth, the river stretches out toward the horizon, and the lush green trees sway in the cool breeze. It’s a sensory experience that feels like a warm hug. It’s a side of South Asia that is quiet, soulful, and deeply beautiful.
