BRAȘOV AIRPORT. MORE FLIGHTS FROM THIS WEEK
The schedule of Brașov–Ghimbav International Airport (AIBG – GHV) is changing starting this week. Thus, Wizz Air will operate, between December 15–21, 25 scheduled services (50 flights), compared to 21 services (42 flights) last week.
The increase is generally linked to Christmas markets and the winter holiday season.
We remind you that the Hungarian low-cost airline has been operating flights for nearly two months on seven routes (Budapest, London, Nuremberg, Dortmund, Naples, Memmingen, and Milan), four of these destinations having been introduced this autumn.
Friday is no longer the only fully busy day, as there are now eight flights (four services) on five days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Thus, today the Dortmund route was added to the schedule. On Wednesday, additional flights to and from Nuremberg are available. On Thursday, flights to Milan and London were added.
The route with the highest frequency is to/from London, with six flights per week. Frequency has also increased on the Dortmund route, now four weekly flights. The same frequency applies to the Budapest route.
