The final agreement between Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) and CMA CGM to develop and operate Terminal 4 at Jeddah Islamic Port represents far more than a port expansion.

With an initial investment of approximately SAR 1.6 billion and an additional annual capacity of up to 2.6 million TEUs, this development is expected to create new opportunities for connecting Jeddah Port with GCC markets through efficient cross-border road transport.

At SQT, we are studying and preparing an integrated operational corridor covering:

Container collection from Jeddah Islamic Port, transit and customs procedures, cross-border road transportation to Qatar, final delivery, and empty-container return management.

By combining SQT’s international road transport experience with ECC’s customs-clearance capabilities, our goal is to provide one controlled logistics chain, one clear point of responsibility, and complete shipment visibility from the port to the customer’s final destination.

Logistics opportunities do not begin when infrastructure projects are completed.

They begin when we understand where the market is heading—and prepare early.
