Ecodeck Initiative

Introducing the Ecodeck—a green space at our Funchal office created by our team, for our team. We transformed this outdoor area into a welcoming spot where colleagues can step away from their desks, take a break, or share a snack.

As part of our journey toward a more sustainable company, this project was inspired by the principles of our Travelife certification and the valuable ideas shared with other certified businesses worldwide.
Many of the plants were brought in by our team members, who came together to plant and continue to care for them daily. We planted a mix of flowers and fresh herbs, and this summer, we’re even harvesting our own leaves to make homemade iced tea!

A special thank you goes to Carla Rodriguez from our Accounting Department. As our dedicated Ecodeck Ambassador, Carla takes daily care of the plants, bringing this initiative to life.

Nothing brings a team together quite like good wine, tradition, and great company!

Our DMC team recently spent a fantastic evening at Quinta do Furão for their special Vindima Noturna (Night Harvest). It was a wonderful opportunity to unwind, celebrate our partnership, and experience one of Madeira's richest traditions firsthand along with some of our Tour Operators Reps Teams.

From picking the grapes at dusk and taking part in the traditional grape treading (pisa das uvas) to enjoying local flavors and live music by Tiago Sena Silva and the Banda Filarmónica do Faial—it was an unforgettable night!

A huge thank you to Quinta do Furão for the warm hospitality. Here’s to a great harvest season!
