Normally, i am not a huge Big M**f fan but some units sound right, the ones with less gain i guess, at least to my taste. First picture on the left is a Black Russian V8 that came for repair. I have to say, this unit is pretty damn good, very musical. On the right is my early version V9, Frantone era, wich is also pretty awesome. Some say is the best thing next to a vintage Ram's Head.
Second picture is the same Frantone's V9 next to another V9 (mine also). Notice the non-existence of the black graphics bellow the big m**f logo. I think this was a limited edition. The problem is that this version doesn't sound as good as the Frantone's, neither the V8.

Happy friends. Here are two silicon fuzz faces with Texas Instruments BC183L (Obsessed with silicon Texas Instruments transistors cause they are really good). This specific 183 work pretty well in a fuzz face circuit (No wonder Dallas Arbiter used this exactly transistors back in the days) cause they clean up extremely well with the guitar volume k**b, very crystal clear with a lot o high end. They are also very germanium like, soundwise speaking without the germanium temperature stability problem. So, these two are already taken but i will happily make more. Drop me a DM.
