No matter how large or small your boat is, you’ll always need to stow everything very carefully because of the constant moving & pitching of your home, and there will never be enough space for everything you would like to take with you, on your boat.

Stackable bowls, cups & saucepans take up much less space than non-stacking ones. Items that can fold, store flat, or be taken apart, like a box grater, folding balloon whisk, or a collapsible silicon colander, will all save precious space on a boat.

Wherever possible, choose tools & equipment that have at least two different uses. Dual-purpose saves space and there is ALWAYS a shortage of storage space in the lockers, lazarette or bilges, on any size boat. So when you’re buying new items for your boat, choose wisely.
