Yesterday I saved a client currently on a trip from getting scammed out of $1,800 because she clicked on what she thought was her airline's phone number. She wanted to change her flight home due to a short layover so she innocently clicked on what she thought was United Airlines. While she was talking to them, she was texting me some of the information they were giving her. Several things she told me raised 🚩🚨

The final 🚩 was an email she was sent about the potential change that did not come directly from United. I told her to hang up immediately. Unfortunately, she had already given them her credit card number so she had to cancel her card.

When I finally got her to the correct place, the scammers had the audacity to call her back. When she told them she was actually chatting with a United agent and that they were scammers, they hung up.

Travel agents have good spidey 🕷 sense because we hear about these scams all the time.

Travel agents aren't 🦖, we are 🦸‍♀️ who give your travel experience a human touch and occasionally save your 🥓.
