Pakistan announces on-arrival visas to tourists of 24 countries Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan has announced on-arrival visas to tourists of 24 countries to promote tourism in the country.

Civil Aviation Authority tweeted a notification and announced that Pakistan will grant multiple entry on-arrival visas to tourists of 24 countries if they travel through designated tour operator in Pakistan.

According to notification these countries citizens will get on-arrival visas Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Iceland, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, UK and US etc.

Director General Pakistan Tourism Development Authority Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor said that foreigners tourists are our asset, we would like to facilitate and welcome them in Pakistan. We will sure their arrival and departure hassle free.

Earlier United Kingdom’s Backpack organization has named Pakistan the number adventure tourist destination of the world.

Baltistan is one of the most beautiful places in the world and yet; it’s harsh, cold and unforgiving landscape ensures that it remains land locked for several months each year due to the road getting buried under several feet of snow during winter. Little wonder then, people and vehicles line up each year in May and June to be amongst the first visitors to visit this land locked beauty, as soon as the roads open up.
However as the season wears on, tourist traffic begins to wane and by end of September, all but a few tourists can be found exploring Gilgit Baltistan on wheels. In October, numbers drop even further as the temperature inches towards subzero level, announcing the impending arrival of harsh winter.
