Chairman of Sialkot International Airport Limited Mr. Hassan Ali Bhatti, and Dy DG Airport Security Force Brigadier Salman Khaliq Qureshi SI(M) jointly inaugurated the newly constructed ASF Barrack at Sialkot International Airport. The auspicious ceremony was attended by the Member Board of Directors of SIAL, Mr. Khwaja Masood Akhtar, Mr. Abdul Ghafoor, Chief Executive Officer of SIAL, AVM Tanweer Ashraf Bhatti (R), and Chief Security Officer, ASF Mr. Shabab Hussain. Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman SIAL Mr. Hassan Ali Bhatti stated that the construction of the ASF Barrack was completed in a record time of 10 months, reflecting the strong mutual collaboration and coordination between SIAL and ASF. He further remarked that the project symbolizes a shared commitment towards enhancing the operational strength and efficiency of ASF personnel deployed at the airport.

Sialkot International Airport had the honor of welcoming H.E. Dr. Oumer Hussien Oba, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, during his official visit to the SIAL. The distinguished guest was graciously received by Vice Chairman SIAL Mr. Waqas Afzal, esteemed Members of the Board of Directors, and CEO SIAL. During the visit, Vice Chairman SIAL briefed the Ambassador on the operational framework of Sialkot International Airport, highlighting the airport’s international and domestic flight operations, cargo handling facilities, and its growing role in regional connectivity and trade facilitation. While addressing the session, the Vice Chairman acknowledged the longstanding bilateral relations between Pakistan and Ethiopia and expressed optimism for further strengthening ties between the two brotherly nations through enhanced aviation and trade collaboration.
