Established in the year 2010, Youth’s Paragon Welfare Trust (YPWT) was initially named as Youth Paragon Relief Services (YPRS), as at that time it was a project initiated by a group of college students in Karachi, Pakistan, to help the flood victims of 2010 floods in Pakistan- marked as the one of the most devastating natural disaster in the history of the country. Team YPRS was able provide their
services to one hundread and twenty families in interior Sindh, affected by these floods of 2010. These services included the distribution of monthly groceries and other basic necessities of life including drinking water and clothing. Later this team also collaborated with a local trust to support other set of 80 flood affected families in Gharo, Sindh. In 2011, the YPRS team decided to turn this single project into a nonprofit organization, working to support volunteering actions in Pakistan- whose awareness was then mostly needed among the youth. That was the time when Youth’s Paragon Welfare Trust was registered legally and officially, with an aim to take actions for supporting the humanitarian causes in Pakistan.
