Muharram is now a few days away and the caravan of Imam Hussain (AS) is getting closer to karbala
Karbala is one of the holiest cities for Shia Muslims, located in present-day Iraq, about 100 km southwest of (Baghdad).
The city became eternally sacred after the tragedy of Karbala in 61 AH (680 CE), where Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad martyred on the plains of karbalas loyal companions were Karbala is the land of sacrifice, patience, and truth.
Millions of pilgrims visit Karbala every year, especially during:
• Muharram
• Ashura (10 Muharram)
• Arbaeen — one of the world's largest peaceful gatherings.
The soil of Karbala is remembered with tears because it witnessed hunger, thirst, loyalty, bravery, and the ultimate sacrifice for Islam.

Ghadir’s sky a message
Ali (AS) was the chosen name.

​On this historic day at Ghadir Khumm, under the burning desert sun, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ raised the hand of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) and declared to thousands of pilgrims

​"مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهٰذَا عَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ"

"Whoever I am his Mawla, then this Ali is his Mawla."

​In that single moment, the light of Wilayah shone brightly. Imam Ali (عليه السلام), the Lion of Allah, the Gate of Knowledge, the embodiment of justice and courage, was publicly appointed as the successor and guardian of the Ummah by divine command. He was the one whom the Prophet loved more than himself, the one who slept in the Prophet’s bed on the night of Hijrah, the one who broke the idols of the Kaaba, and the one whose sword never left the path of truth.

​On the 18th of Dhul Hijjah, we celebrate not just an event, but the perfection of religion through the Wilayah of Ameer al-Momineen (عليه السلام).

​اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِوِلَايَةِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
