First of all I would like to thank all of our customers those who support us during this Lock down situation and make payments against their outstanding.

In this situation we pray to God for their and our safety. Imperial Xpress always cares about their team members and their customers, and for their safety we have closed our operation department as we have corporate social responsibility towards our society and our stakeholders.

We have been receiving several calls on daily basis regarding the opening of our operation department. Therefore, management has decided to start the operation department from 06-04-2020.

DHL team attended a meeting with ANF Force Commander and following was emphasized by him,



1. Original CNIC of shipper is the utmost requirement which must be taken by any booking agent before booking the shipment and concentration should be paid to see if CNIC looks original, picture and age of individual tally with the person standing in front of you as shipper.



2. Never accept a copy of CNIC whether a green color copy even from a person whom you know being a frequent customer.



3. Take the phone number of shipper and make a call on it to ensure number is working and same person receives the ring in front of you.



4. Get CNIC number verified through NADRA by sending CNIC number on 7000.If reply says CARD EXPIRED,UNDER SUSPECT CATEGORY,CANCELLED then do not book shipment at any cost.



5. Never book a shipment on a CNIC whose holder is not there in front of you as shipper as you can’t judge if presented CNIC is stolen ,snatched or some innocent person CNIC is being misused.



6. Inspect the shipment very thoroughly and prepare invoice yourself after counting the contents.



7. Never send any parcel to DHL. Which has not been booked and have not been inspected by yourself.



8. ANF told us that most of the shipper of illegal drugs could not be apprehended just because of booking made on someone else CNIC or fake CNIC.



9. Must installed CCTV camera at book desk. If CCTV footages will not available for any reason consider company / agent are involve in it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM DHL

Dear Customer,

Kindly note the UK Gift Procedure is only to be used when all of the following criteria apply:

· Items are being sent to a private resident.
· Items are sent from a private resident, and not a sole trader or company.
· Items are sent on a one-off basis, and should not be used when sending multiple shipments each month.

Requested with you that contact with all your shippers, customers and petty couriers urgently and inform them that they should not send any future goods to the UK falsely claiming they are gifts.

If practice is ongoing, UK Custom will have no choice but to RTO or destroy all of such future shipments.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM DHL

Undervaluation of Shipments

Dear Customer,

DHL Express has been experiencing a significant increase in the number of shipments on hold at destination due to Customs´ request to certify the value of the goods to be imported.

DHL at destination have confirmed numerous and increasing cases of confirmed undervaluation by checking with local CNEEs/receivers through proof of payment and comparing this with the invoice value.

Undervaluation in such cases is tantamount to fraud and is a serious offence.

Failure to follow these guidelines will negatively impact the CNEE, Customer and Shipper. It could result in fines, penalties, loss of license, RTO-ed shipments and delay or restricted access to key consumer markets for the customer.

Implication of Undervaluation

On the Receiver/CNEE

Additional interruptions by DHL at destination to obtain proof of payment from the receiver/CNEE

Receivers/CNEEs could be subjected to the risk of penalties and customs audits including possibility of Customs raiding their premises

Future shipments of receivers/CNEEs could be subjected to automatic inspections and delays if they are black-marked by Customs through its risk profiling engine


On the Shipper

Future shipments by the shipper could be subjected to automatic inspections and delays if they are black-marked by Customs through its risk profiling engine

Loss of market access by the shipper regardless of transporter/broker


Therefore you are requested to ensure that realistic values are mentioned on the invoice so as to avoid any inconvenience.
