Salam Pakistan, Salam Iran 🇵🇰🇮🇷

Challenges often bring new opportunities. This Chinese proverb stands true today as Pakistan and Iran—two brotherly nations—enter a new phase of strengthened cooperation and emerging economic possibilities.

Due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is actively exploring flexible trade systems with neighboring countries to ease pressure on its ports. In response, Pakistan has stepped forward to support its Islamic brother during a critical time, reinforcing regional solidarity and partnership.

Turning this cooperation into action, the IRT Chamber successfully dispatched the first two consignments from Karachi on April 10, 2026, via the Gabd-Rimdan trade corridor. These historic moments mark the first time vehicles entered Iran from Pakistan under the TIR transit system.

President of the International Road Transport Chamber, Rana Asif Khan, expressed heartfelt gratitude to both governments, customs authorities, and TIR operators for making this milestone possible. He also reaffirmed the next goal: transporting Iran-bound containers currently held at Karachi Port through land routes into Iran.

May Allah continue to support and strengthen the bond between Iran and Pakistan.

سلام پاکستان، سلام ایران۔ مشکلات مواقع بھی لے کر آتی ہیں۔ یہ چائنیز کہاوت آج پاکستان اور ایران، دو برادر ممالک کے درمیان باہمی تعلقات کے نئے مواقع پیدا ہونے پر سچ ثابت ہو رہی ہے۔

آبنائے ہرمز کی بندش کے باعث ایران اپنی بندرگاہوں پر دباؤ کم کرنے کے لیے نئے زمینی رابطوں کے لیے ہمسایہ ممالک کے ساتھ لچکدار تجارتی نظام بنانے کے لیے تیار ہے۔ ادھر پاکستان بھی اپنے اسلامی برادر ملک کی مشکل وقت میں اس کا ساتھ دینے کے لیے آمادہ ہے۔

اس باہمی تعاون کو عملی جامہ پہنانے کے لیے IRT چیمبر نے 10 اپریل 2026 کو پہلی دو عدد کنسائنمنٹ، گودرمندان تجارتی راہداری کے راستے کراچی سے روانہ کیں۔ آئیے اب ہم آپ کو وہ تاریخی لمحات دکھاتے ہیں جب تاریخ میں پہلی بار TIR ٹرانزٹ طریقہ کار کے تحت گاڑیاں پاکستان سے ایران داخل ہو رہی ہیں۔

اس تاریخ کو رقم کرنے کے لیے صدر انٹرنیشنل روڈ ٹرانسپورٹ چیمبر، رانا آصف خان، دونوں ممالک کی گورنمنٹ، کسٹم اتھارٹیز اور TIR آپریٹرز کے دلی طور پر مشکور ہیں۔ اس موقع پر رانا آصف صدر IRT چیمبر نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ اب ان کا اگلا ہدف کراچی پورٹ پر رکے ایران ٹرانزٹ کے کنٹینرز کو زمینی راستے کے ذریعے ایران پہنچانا ہے۔
