Chikar Village, located in the breathtaking Broghil Wakhan Corridor of Upper Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, is one of the most beautiful and remote places on Earth. Surrounded by majestic mountains and pristine landscapes, it is home to warm, peaceful, and incredibly hospitable people.

Despite its natural beauty, the village still lacks many basic facilities. The local community depends mainly on livestock for their livelihood, while tourism has become the most promising source of income and hope for a better future.

Improving safe, easy, and smooth access to the valley would not only benefit local residents but also promote sustainable tourism, create economic opportunities, and showcase one of Pakistan's most extraordinary destinations to the world.

After six years, the first international tourist group successfully visited the breathtaking Boroghil Valley and the Wakhan Corridor in Pakistan. This journey marks an important milestone in reviving tourism in one of the country's most remote and spectacular destinations.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the Chitral Scouts officers in Mustuj and the government officials for their valuable support and cooperation. A special thanks to our wonderful guests for spending a full day in Mustuj and embracing the beauty, culture, and hospitality of the region.

Shandur Polo Festival 2026 — A Celebration Above the Clouds!

What an unforgettable experience at the Shandur Polo Festival 2026! The breathtaking mountains, crystal-clear lakes, vibrant local culture, and the thrilling polo match between Gilgit and Chitral made this festival truly magical.

For three incredible days, thousands of polo lovers from Gilgit and Chitral gathered at the world’s highest polo ground to witness passion, tradition, and sportsmanship at its best. Both teams played exceptionally well, but Gilgit made history by winning the Shandur Polo Festival after 15 years!

A huge thank you to Travel Asia Adventure for organizing such an amazing tour. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with adventure, culture, and unforgettable memories.

What an incredible journey!

Our 4-week expedition through the majestic Hindu Kush, Karakoram, and Himalayan mountain ranges has successfully concluded, leaving us with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and valuable experiences.

From Islamabad to Swat, Dir, Kalash, Chitral, Mastuj, Boroghil, Shandur Pass, Phander Valley, Gilgit, Hunza, Gojal, Khunjerab Pass, Skardu, Nanga Parbat, and Fairy Meadows, every destination offered breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality.

One of the most special moments of this tour was welcoming the first international visitors to Boroghil after six years. Meeting local community leaders, tourism professionals, social workers, and residents gave us deeper insights into the opportunities and challenges of sustainable tourism in these remote mountain regions.

A huge thank you to Travel Asia Adventure for expertly organizing this remarkable adventure. Their professional guides and dedicated team made every moment enjoyable, safe, and memorable.
