2TBn on the MOVE

Ngayong ika-18 ng Mayo 2026, matagumpay na nagsagawa ang 2nd Transportation Battalion, 2LSG, SPTCOM, PA ng Gift Giving Activity sa Capisan Elementary School, Zamboanga City bilang bahagi ng aming adbokasiya at best practice na “Smile Drive Initiative Program.” Ito ay naglalayong magbahagi ng mga school supplies at magbigay ng ngiti sa mga batang mag-aaral sa nasabing paaralan.

Ang 2TBn ay taos-pusong ring nagpapasalamat sa mga nagbahagi ng kanilang tulong at school supplies tulad nina: Cathy, Jedrick and Rica Somoso; Ltc Ronald and Nancy Putol; Chief Nurse ng CNGH, Col Gina B Burac NC (GSC); Mr and Mrs Henry Sumalpong; Ma. Ellanor Concel at Lucky Taguan Balimbingan, dahil sa kanilang suporta, malasakit, at kabutihang-loob para sa mga batang mag-aaral.

Patuloy kaming maglilingkod hindi lamang sa pagtupad ng tungkulin kundi maging sa pagpapalaganap ng malasakit, pag-asa, at ngiti sa komunidad.

Malagutay, Zamboanga City—The 2TBn actively participated in a bloodletting activity in celebration of the 3rd Founding Anniversary of the 2STMA Battalion, led by LTC RICHARD B SOMOSO OS (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer. The activity was held at the CETA Covered Court in partnership with the Zamboanga City Medical Center.

The event was open to all qualified and healthy individuals. It offered free medical check-ups and souvenirs for donors while providing an opportunity to help save lives through voluntary blood donation. (Cpl Lausa)

Malagutay, Zamboanga City—What a privilege for the 2TBn, 2LSG, SPTCOM, PA to reach and speak with children in Tulungatong Elementary School, a far-flung area, yet the dreams of the children continue to thrive. When the children were asked, “Who wants to be a soldier? ” a sea of hands rose without hesitation.

In that powerful moment, everyone witnessed courage, dreams, and the quiet strength of a generation ready to rise and fight for something greater than themselves.

This meaningful GAD-based symposium on Gender Awareness and Development was led by 1Lt Mary Rose P Tentativa (QMS) PA, Personnel/Admin Officer of 2TBn, empowering young minds to break stereotypes and embrace equality.
