To our valued passengers,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the July 24, 2026 (9:00 PM) departure of M/V Maria Matilde from Jolo, Sulu.

Prior to departure, the vessel encountered a technical issue wherein the anchor could not be successfully retrieved. As a safety precaution, the vessel’s Captain made the decision not to proceed with the voyage. This decision was made solely to ensure the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the vessel.

While we understand the inconvenience this has caused to your travel plans, please know that the safety of our passengers will always be our highest priority. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this unforeseen situation.

The technical issue has already been addressed, and our maintenance team immediately conducted the necessary repairs to ensure the vessel is safe and ready for operation.

We are pleased to inform the public that our Zamboanga–Jolo and Jolo–Zamboanga voyages have officially resumed following the improvement of weather and sea conditions. Operations are now back to normal, subject to the guidance and clearance of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

For our Zamboanga–Bongao route, please be advised that the next scheduled voyage will be on Monday July 13, 2026. Our vessel is currently departing from Bongao and is en route to Zamboanga to resume its regular operations.
