MAGSUR – BIG WINNER IN PHILIPPINE TRAVEL MART 2026
The 37th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) 2026, which concluded yesterday at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, became a triumphant stage for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Province of Maguindanao del Sur (BARRM-MAGSUR). With a sweep of major recognitions, MAGSUR emerged as the biggest winner of this year’s prestigious tourism showcase.
In the Best Presentation category, BARRM-MAGSUR captivated audiences and judges alike, earning the coveted Champion title. Their presentation highlighted the rich cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and promising tourism potential of Maguindanao del Sur, setting a high standard for creativity and authenticity.
The region’s artistry and ingenuity extended to the Regional/Provincial Booth Category, where BARRM-MAGSUR once again claimed the Champion award. Their booth stood out as a living tapestry of culture and hospitality, drawing visitors with its immersive design and heartfelt storytelling.
Adding to their victories, BARRM-Maguindanao del Sur also secured the People’s Choice Award, a testament to the overwhelming support and admiration from the public. • Best Booth City/Municipality: Champion – Kalibo; 1st Runner Up – Cotabato City; 2nd Runner Up – Puerto Princesa
• Best Booth Regional/Provincial: 1st Runner Up – Province of Capiz; 2nd Runner Up – Province of Quezon (CALABARZON)
