Isaiah 60:22
When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. 🙏🏻😇

This was us before Japan. 🇯🇵🤍

Our dates were simple back then—mostly fast food, quick meet-ups, and whatever we could afford. He had just come home after a 9 month contract at sea, and I was busy going back and forth to different agencies, submitting requirements and trying to make my dream of going to Japan happen. 🙏🏻

Hindi naging madali yung journey ko. There were times when I felt exhausted, frustrated, and almost ready to give up. But when I was struggling, he was there to help me and somehow make things a little easier. 🥹

I still remember thinking, “Sana kapag natupad ko na yung dream ko, siya pa din yung kasama ko”.

And now, here I am. 🥹💞

The funny thing about dreams is that sometimes, while you’re busy fighting for them, you don’t realize you’re also creating memories that you’ll look back on someday.

These videos remind me of where we started—simple dates, uncertain plans, and two people trying to make things work.

Now we’re doing long distance, and it isn’t always easy. But whenever I miss him, I look back and remember:

Before there was distance, there was us.
Before the sacrifices, there were simple dates.
And before the miles between us, there were two people who were simply trying to build a better future. 🤍

Somehow, we made it this far. And I hope someday, when we’re no longer counting the distance between us, we’ll look back at these days and say,

“Grabe, kinaya natin.” 🥹❤️
