The Bureau of Customs-Port of Batangas (BOC-POB) achieved a record-breaking monthly revenue collection in July 2026, collecting Php24.208 billion and surpassing its revenue target of Php23.452 billion by Php755.209 million, or 3.22%.
July recorded both the Portโs highest monthly revenue target and highest monthly revenue collection since January. It also marked the highest monthly revenue collection in the history of the Port of Batangas, further reinforcing the Portโs significant contribution to the Bureau of Customsโ overall revenue performance.
The record-breaking collection reflects the Portโs sustained commitment to strengthening revenue generation, facilitating legitimate trade, and enhancing customs processes. Leading the Portโs revenue collections for the month were Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation, Shell Pilipinas Corporation, and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation, whose importations accounted for a significant share of the Portโs total revenue collections in July.
A key factor in this achievement was the strengthened collaboration between the Bureau and its stakeholders. Last May, the Port of Batangas convened a Town Hall Meeting with twelve (12) partner government agencies, providing a platform to address operational concerns, improve inter-agency coordination, and reinforce collective efforts toward efficient cargo clearance and trade facilitation. The Port also continues to hold regular engagements with its Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC) members, fostering open communication and stronger public-private sector collaboration.
District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan attributed the milestone to the collective dedication of the Portโs personnel and stakeholders.
โThis record-breaking achievement reflects the dedication of our personnel and the strong collaboration we have built with our partner agencies and CICAC stakeholders. Julyโs performance, which recorded both our highest revenue target and highest monthly revenue collection since January, demonstrates our unwavering commitment to excellence. Through the leadership and guidance of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, we remain committed to strengthening revenue collection, facilitating legitimate trade, and delivering responsive public service,โ said District Collector Talusan.
The BOC-Port of Batangas extends its sincere appreciation to its partner government agencies, CICAC members, stakeholders, and the dedicated men and women of the port whose professionalism, commitment, and teamwork made this historic accomplishment possible. The Port remains steadfast in supporting the Bureau of Customs in achieving its revenue goals, advancing trade facilitation, and delivering responsive public service.โฉ
