Guys if may upcoming flights pa kayo with some airlines, wag nyo muna iconvert sa travel fund if they give you that option.

If it’s an airlines initiated flight cancellation. You have an option for full refund in the original form of payment.

That’s exactly what I did when I realized na hindi na matutuloy yun Taiwan ko because of COVID.

Different airlines started offering travel credits and waived charges for rebooking/rerouting your flight as early as February 2020.

Since I worked for an airlines, na-sense ko na these flights will be cancelled soon and as per Air Passenger Bill of Rights, you are entitled for a full refund in the original FOP if the airlines initiated the flight cancellation.

So ayun, next month na dapat un flight ko and I just receive a notification na cancel daw ni airlines un flight and voila! A refund in the original FOP was made available for my reservation.

It may take 90 days to get the refund but at least you’ll have more flexibility to use your money for another flight in a different airlines, destination and travel period.

These airlines will lure you to keep your flight credits with them.

So if you have any upcoming flights wait until the last day of your travel date kasi most probably, icacancel dn nila un since travel outside the country is still restricted due to COVID19.
