𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 🛜

With improved weather conditions this week, the Multi-Channel Ground Penetrating Radar (MCGPR) Survey has rolled across various locations within the Kalayaan Avenue Station site and will soon move into the Bonifacio Global City Station area.

Using real-time 3D subsurface imaging technology, the MCGPR Survey enables more accurate data collection, minimizing the risk of disrupting underground utilities in Bonifacio Global City.

Data gathered from this survey will play a vital role in our overall plan for utility relocation—a key Advance Work that supports the safe and efficient construction of the underground stations. More immediately, the results of the MCGPR Survey are set to refine our upcoming trial trenching activities.

Each Advance Work brings us one step closer to building a more connected and sustainable transportation infrastructure for Filipino commuters. 🚇🇵🇭

⛈️ Dahil sa pinagsamang epekto ng habagat at Bagyong Inday sa Philippine Area of Responsibility, umiiral ang aming mga protocol upang tiyakin ang ligtas na operasyon kaugnay ng pagtatayo ng BGC segment ng Metro Manila Subway Project. 🏗️

Narito ang ipinatutupad naming work restrictions alinsunod sa rainfall classification ng PAGASA. Pero kahit hindi pasok sa mga kategoryang ito, maaari pa ring suspindihin ang paggawa batay sa site conditions. 🚧

Hangad namin ang kaligtasan ng host community, gayundin ng aming mga kawani’t manggagawa. 👷🏼‍♂️

💡 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒

Kapwa pinopondohan ng mga gobyerno ng Pilipinas at Japan ang Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) Phase 1, kung saan nakapaloob ang Contract Package 105 o ang BGC segment. 🚇

🇵🇭🇯🇵 𝗢𝗗𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹
Sa ilalim ng financing model na Official Development Assistance (ODA), 76% ng kabuuang project cost na PHP488.5 bilyon ay ipauutang ng Japan sa atin sa pamamagitan ng Japan International Cooperation Agency - Philippines Office (JICA). Katumbas ito ng kabuuang PHP370.8 bilyong loan package.

Pilipinas naman ang direktang popondo ng 24% ng project cost sa halagang PHP117.7 bilyon.

🏦 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀
Sa kasalukuyan, nakapagbigay na ng apat na loan tranches ang JICA sa Pilipinas, na nilagdaan noong 2018, 2022, 2024, at 2026. Ang bawat tranche ay may kaakibat na annual interest rate, na may bahagyang pagkakaiba sa isa’t isa. Gayunpaman, nasa 0.80% lamang ang pinakamataas na annual interest rate sa ngayon bilang pagtalima sa diwa ng ODA.

Ang pautang sa Pilipinas ay may kabuuang maturity period na 40 taon, kabilang ang grace period na nasa pagitan ng 7 hanggang 13 taon, alinsunod sa mga probisyon ng bawat yugto ng pautang.

Magkakaroon pa ng mga karagdagang tranche upang maibigay ang kabuuang halaga ng loan.

⚖️🔎 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
Dahil JICA ang lender para sa proyektong ito, ilang hakbang ang nakapaloob para sa mas maigting at tapat na pamamamahala ng pondo. Kabilang na riyan ang pagtatalaga ng third-party General Consultant (GC) na nagsisilbing Engineer ng proyekto.

Bukod sa mahigpit na mga pamantayan at proseso para tiyakin ang kalidad sa lahat ng aspeto ng MMSP, bukas din sa publiko ang mga dokumento ng GC—mga hakbang na nagpapaibayo sa transparency at integridad ng tinaguriang “Project of the Century” ng Pilipinas.

The Nishimatsu - DMCI Joint Venture, alongside General Consultant OCGlobal Joint Venture, witnessed a demonstration of the IDS GeoRadar Stream DP by Groundwatch Geophysical Surveying Services.

This advanced system will be harnessed during the Multi-Channel Ground Penetrating Radar (MCGPR) Survey at the respective sites of the Kalayaan Avenue and Bonifacio Global City Stations.

Primed for large-scale underground utility mapping, this GPR system operates at 600 MHz with 30 channels and patented Equalized Scrambled Technology for high-resolution detection of shallow and deep targets. Its multi-channel capability enables real-time 3D imaging of subsurface information prior to excavation or construction—a critical feature that significantly increases the accuracy of subsurface data collection and reduces the risk of damaging existing underground utilities.

🗓️ The 14-day MCGPR Survey at our future underground stations begins next week, operating nightly from 11pm to 5am to minimize disruption. The high-resolution subsurface imaging will help refine our trial trenching plan, where we physically locate, verify, and document existing underground utilities to map out safe pathways for utility relocation.

🚧👷🏼‍♂️ Traffic marshals will be deployed to ensure the safe conduct of the subsurface mapping.

Nasa 655 metro ang haba ng mga tunnel na magdurugtong sa Kalayaan Avenue Station at Bonifacio Global City Station ng Metro Manila Subway. Bagamat ‘di ito singhaba ng iba pang segment ng subway, ibayong preparasyon at pag-iingat ang kailangan sa konstruksyon lalo’t ang utility lines sa BGC ay pawang underground.
