Following the directive of the MALACAÑANG PALACE through Memorandum Circular No. 126, the City Government of Tagaytay is implementing the appropriate alternative work arrangements today, August 14, 2026, due to the continuing heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon. As Local Chief Executive, I respect and will abide by the said memorandum, and we will fully comply with the directive.

As of this writing, classes in all levels are suspended in Tagaytay City. I urge everyone to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and prioritize safety, especially in areas affected by flooding, landslides, and other rain-related hazards.
