MANILA FLIGHTS TO CONTINUE DURING ECQ PERIOD, SUBJECT TO PROTOCOLS

International and domestic flights to and from MANILA shall continue operating during the newly imposed Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period from March 29 to April 4, 2021, subject to travel protocols set by the Philippine Department of Transportation (DOTr).


INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS:

- Arrivals at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) continue to be limited to a maximum of 1,500 passengers per day for all airlines combined.
- As a result, airlines are compelled to cancel some flights, and/or re-route some to land in Cebu or Clark instead, to ensure that they stay within the limits. Please check regularly for updates on daily flight operations.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS:

- Domestic flights to and from Manila may continue to operate subject to compliance with any restrictions on flight frequencies or capacity that may be imposed by each Local Government Unit (LGU) of the concerned destination cities.


- Domestic travel to and from Manila shall be limited to essential travelers (LSIs) and Authorized Persons Outside of their Residences, namely:


1. health/emergency frontline services personnel
2. government officials and frontline personnel
3. duly-authorized humanitarian assistance actors
4. persons traveling for medical/humanitarian reasons
5. persons going to the airport for travel abroad
6. persons crossing zones for work or business permitted in the zone of destination, and going back home.
7. returning or repatriated OFWs and other Overseas Filipinos (OFs) returning to their places of residence

In line with the DOTr guidelines, airlines shall strictly adhere to the health and safety protocols established by the government authorities.


OPTIONS FOR OUR PASSENGERS:

Should your flight be canceled due to the above restrictions and limitations, you may:

1. Convert your ticket to a Travel Voucher (request until June 30, 2021);

2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge;

3. Refund your ticket without penalties.

If your flight is not affected by cancellations or travel ban, you can make voluntary changes to your flight following the new No-Worry Flight Fare Brand. CEB Advisory: Flight cancellations following IATF Reso 104 – March 25 to April 04, 2021
As of 7:00pm, March 23, 2021
Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces, the Philippine government has implemented stricter guidelines in areas belonging to “NCR Plus” until April 04, 2021. During this period, only essential travel is allowed in and out of Metro Manila.
Following this resolution, Cebu Pacific and Cebgo will be cancelling a number of domestic flights beginning tomorrow, March 25 to April 04, 2021.
Affected guests may conveniently choose their preferred option (Rebook, 2-year Travel Fund or Refund) online, through (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight) until 30 days from date of departure. CEB permanently removed Change Fees earlier this month.

CEB Advisory: PH Government sets 1,500 cap for international arrivals from March 18 to April 18, 2021

In order to prevent the spread of new COVID-19 variants in the Philippines, the government has limited ALL international arrivals to 1,500 passengers per day, from March 18 to April 18, 2021.

In compliance with this latest resolution, CEB will be cancelling the following flights from March 18 to April 18, 2021:

• Manila – Narita (Tokyo) – Manila
• Manila – Nagoya – Manila

Affected passengers will be informed via contact details provided in the booking.

Guests may select their preferred option (rebook for travel within 90 days with fare difference waived, 2-year travel fund or refund) through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight) within 30 days from date of departure.

Guests who wish to voluntarily postpone their trips may also conveniently opt for Unlimited rebooking or 2-year Travel Fund, up to two hours before their flights. CEB permanently removed Change Fees last March 2, 2021.

"All Filipino citizens now allowed entry to Philippines —NTF"

The National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) has revised its earlier memorandum regarding pandemic-related restrictions on international travel.

In Memorandum Circular No. 6 dated March 18, 2021, the NTF clarified that all Filipino citizens, including those that are not overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), will be allowed to enter the Philippines.

The circular also said the entry of foreign nationals is suspended from March 22 to Apr. 21, 2021.

The new circular revised a March 16 circular that directed all concerned agencies to implement the travel restrictions from March 20 to April 19.

The previous circular temporarily suspended the entry of returning Filipinos who are not OFWs.

Exempted foreign nationals

Foreigners exempted from the travel restrictions are diplomats and members of international organizations and their dependents 9(c) or 47(a)(2) visa at the time of entry; foreign nationals involved in medical repatriation; foreign seafarers under the "Green Lanes" program for crew change; foreign spouses and children of Filipino citizens with valid visas at the time of entry; and emergency, humanitarian and other analogous cases approved by the NTF.

The NTF said during the March 22-April 21 period, the travel of Filipinos and exempted foreign nationals "shall be subject to the arrival quota set by the Department of Transportation."
