Although our NBL has come to an end, reaching Quarter Finals here in Laguna was not an easy feat with horrible officiating & obvious call advantages to Laguna teams - we will be going back to Tacloban with the motivation to be a better basketball team & better individual with the tenacity, never giving up & fighter attitude! JUST IN : Kirby Lugasan & Neil Ramirez confirmed to have made it to the line up of Team Malabon MPBL Jr. for the up coming season 4.These 2 young big men made noise in the tryout held in Bacoor City, they both showed when it mattered inspite being new to the big city basketball culture of Manila. A testament of our development program, of what we would want best to our players.

JUST IN : Jannoah Abad was selected in the just concluded Smart Gilas Try-out in Rizal Memorial Coliseum. Abad a 6 foot 1 potential showed when it mattered tallying 14 points, a monster block & behind the back assist. The youth National team coaches made sure they got his contact details moving into the next round of try-outs.Our boys brushed shoulder with the top prospects in the country such as La Salle, Ateneo, NU, FEU.etc, He was even approached by the head coach of San Beda College. This is a testament of our developmental program, no shortcuts, no backers just seizing every opportunity weve got.

Our MPBL Jr. 'Battle of Champions' here in Las Piñas is still much alive with 1-1 record, a loss to CDO by single digit, (whilst leading most of the game actually).Game 2 was a different story as we dominated Bataan by 42 points! The boys would like to thank their sponsors for this journey (specially with the crisis). We are not just representing our last name in the back & the team name in the front but of the entire community.
