Essential Tips for the Ride
Prepare for a rough ride: The trucks do not offer a smooth, paved journey; expect extreme bouncing and jolting. Bring a reliable waterproof dry bag for your electronics.
Pack provisions: Bring enough drinking water and snacks to last the journey, as food options along the trail and near the falls are heavily limited. Single use plastics are strictly not allowed.
Wear appropriate gear: Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet, and consider durable, slip-resistant footwear suitable for both the bumpy truck ride and the short, 15-minute trek to the falls.
Contact details: If you are building your own DIY itinerary (getting there from Manila via Partas or Dominion bus lines), you can coordinate your specific monster truck/jeep reservation locally with DPWH contacts in Abra.
