Tama eh
Donβt be afraid to spend money on trips. Savings are important, yes. Responsibilities matter. Kailangan magbayad ng bills, tumulong sa pamilya, maghanda para sa future. But life was never meant to be lived only between paydays and deadlines.
Money can always be earned back. Time cannot.
One day, youβll wake up with more gray hair, slower steps, and fewer chances to explore. At kapag dumating ang panahong iyon, you wonβt remember how many overtime hours you rendered or how many weekends you sacrificed for work. What youβll remember are the places you saw, the laughter you shared, the sunsets you watched without checking your phone.
Mas nakakatakot tumanda na trabaho lang ang napuntahan mo.
Imagine spending thirty or forty years working non-stop, only to realize you never saw the ocean you dreamed of, never climbed a mountain, never experienced a quiet province morning or a spontaneous road trip with friends. Parang ang lungkot isipin na ang mundo napakalawak, pero ang mundo mo naging opisina lang.
Travel doesnβt have to be expensive or luxurious. Hindi kailangang abroad agad. Kahit simpleng bus ride to a nearby town, a beach camping trip, or visiting relatives in the province counts. What matters is breaking free from routine and allowing yourself to live.
Because experiences shape us more than possessions ever will. Clothes fade. Gadgets become outdated. But memories? They stay with you forever.
So reward yourself sometimes. Mag-ipon, oo, pero huwag kalimutang gumastos para sa saya. You deserve rest. You deserve adventure. You deserve stories worth telling.
Work to live, donβt live only to work.
