Siquijor welcomed me with magic—not just the kind whispered in legends, but the kind you feel deep in your soul.

My adventure began beneath the waves, where I experienced the serenity of freediving—each breath held longer, each dive deeper into a world so still, so blue, and so alive. The ocean here doesn’t just invite you in—it embraces you.

After surfacing, I was introduced to a bold local delicacy: fresh sea urchin. At first, I hesitated—but one bite revealed a surprising richness of flavor, straight from the sea and onto my plate.

Exploring inland, I stood in awe before Siquijor’s oldest and tallest Balete tree. Its roots curled like ancient arms, and its aura held the quiet strength of centuries. It felt like nature itself was telling a story.

To top it all off, the island's food was unforgettable—each dish bursting with flavor, heart, and heritage. Every meal tasted like home, even though I was far from mine.

Siquijor isn’t just a destination—it’s a memory you carry with you long after you’ve left. 🌿🌊💫

Freediving into the deep blue was an unforgettable rush, while the soothing kawa bath in the middle of nature was pure bliss. 🛁✨

Strolled along the iconic Dumaguete Boulevard, felt the heat rise at the Sulfur Vent, met some cheeky locals at the Monkey Viewing spot, and stood in awe at the majestic Pulang Bato Falls. 🐒🌋🌺

Every stop, every moment—Dumaguete truly knows how to leave a mark. 💛

From the mesmerizing firedance under the stars, to island hopping across crystal-clear waters, every moment felt like a dream. 🌊🔥💃
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, a side trip to the charming Girasoles Flower Farm bloomed into the perfect ending. 🌻🌼
