It’s unfortunate that we received very little positive feedback for the proposed 2025 Oktoberfest. This suggests that it will be challenging for us to stage the event as originally envisioned — to generate “buzz” for the tourism industry and jump-start the high season.

Perhaps someone else has a better idea — because at this point, instead of the usual complaints, what we truly need is action.

Octopus Divers – Sabang

Each establishment will stage their own Oktoberfest version with unique programs but share common elements to unify the celebration as one Puerto Galera Oktoberfest.

Signature “Oktoberfest ambiance” to connect all venues under one brand.

Promotion & Branding

Invite other establishments to join – free inclusion in promotion if they adopt some common elements.

LGU Support Requested

Security assistance in key areas during event dates.

Sabang venue – request permission to use part of Sabang Boulevard for events (esp. Octopus Divers’ version).

Nagkaroon kami ng productive meeting kanina with LGU officials led by Vice Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Present din sina Municipal Administrator Carmela Datinguinoo (para kay Mayor Robinhood Ylagan), Hon. Divine Delgado, Hon. Harold Marquez, Hon. Rodel Lopez, Hon. Teddy Florida, Tourism Officer Mary Christine Ibon, at SB Secretary Carina Aldover.

Iprenesenta namin ang concept at dahilan ng Puerto Galera Oktoberfest — at positively accepted ito! 💯 Suportado ng LGU ang event na magbibigay sigla at ingay sa tourism industry natin ngayong paparating na high season.
