The journey started with a meaningful exploration of Ilocosโ€™ rich history through visits to the iconic Paoay Church, Malacaรฑang of the North, and Sarrat Church . The students also indulged in authentic Ilocano flavors at the famous La Preciosa Restaurant before feeling the rush of adrenaline at the exciting Paoay Sand Dunes adventure and ending the day with a relaxing stay at Plaza Del Norte.

Day 2 was filled with breathtaking sightseeing and unforgettable memories as the students witnessed the beauty of Bangui Windmills , the stunning Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, and the crystal shores of Pagudpud Beach. They also deepened their tourism knowledge through a seminar about Ilocos Tourism Trends and Heritage Tourism, followed by a fun-filled fellowship night celebrating friendship, teamwork, and new experiences.

To complete the immersion, the students explored the timeless beauty of Calle Crisologo aboard a traditional kalesa ride , visited the historic Bantay Bell Tower, and experienced the art of traditional pottery-making at Pagburnayan.

From classrooms to real-world experiences the Hospitality and Tourism Management students of Samal Island City College truly showcased passion, teamwork, and excellence during their unforgettable Davaoโ€“Bukidnon Educational Tour.

The journey began with an eye-opening visit to the Davao City Central 911 where students learned about the impressive operations and emergency response system of the city. They also immersed themselves in valuable industry-based seminars at Kavanah Haven Resort featuring Plant-based Gastronomy Demonstration, Resort Operations Seminar and Tour, and โ€œThe Kavanah Way โ€“ Quality Service Seminar.โ€ Their stay at Saddle Ridge Camp added a memorable mountain accommodation experience surrounded by nature and relaxation.

Adventure and learning continued on Day 2 at Dahilayan Adventure Park where students experienced thrilling rides, exciting attractions, and meaningful discussions through the seminar conducted by the DENR Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO). The fellowship night became one of the highlights of the tour as students shared laughter, memories, and stronger friendships.

The final day at Malagos Garden Resort was filled with inspiration and creativity as students attended the seminar โ€œSailing into Opportunities: Exploring the Star Cruises Fleet, Modern Cruise Experiences, and Careers at Sea.โ€ They also enjoyed hands-on and interactive activities including the famous Malagos Chocolate Making Activity, Bird Feeding Dome, Chocolate Museum, Museo de Mariposa, Butterfly Sanctuary, and Mindanao Art Gallery.

A journey filled with learning beyond the classroom, unforgettable adventures, and experiences that will inspire future hospitality and tourism professionals.

From classroom to real-world experience, students of University of the Assumption stepped into the dynamic world of hospitality through a hands-on immersion program.

The journey began with a visit to Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, where students gained valuable insights into cruise line career opportunities, participated in a towel folding demonstration, and explored the instituteโ€™s training facilities.

Their learning continued with an exciting restaurant immersion at TGI Fridays Okada, featuring a Bar Tour, flairtending, and cocktail mixing workshopโ€”followed by the stunning musical fountain show at Okada Manila.

Students also had the opportunity to experience world-class accommodation at Solaire Resort, adding a touch of luxury to their immersion.

On their final day, they visited Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill at Newport City, where they received an overview of restaurant operations, a presentation of signature dishes by the chef, and experienced fine dining at its finest.
