Vega International Shipmanagement Inc. (VISI) on Full Ahead!
Vega International Shipmanagement Inc. (VISI) was finally inaugurated last 02 February 2023 at its office on the 5th Floor of the AIC Burgundy Empire Tower, Ortigas Business Center, Pasig City, Philippines. The new company aims to deliver numerous functions of ship management like purchasing & spares, technical support, crewing, chartering, marine insurance, drydock & repair, and many other maritime solutions.
The event was graced with the presence of the company’s proponents & directors, suppliers & providers, stakeholders, and friends. The inauguration started with a religious mass followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and banquet which was enjoyed by all the guests. In the message of the company's President & CEO, Capt. Vicente E. Fedelicio, he shared that this immense and ambitious project came into fruition after a deeper sense of confidence and trust were forged from many years of strong partnership of the first company, Vega Manila Crewmanagement, Inc. and its Hamburg-based partner, Vega - Reederei GmbH & Co. KG.
The trend of the shipmanagement business has been booming in the recent years as more and more foreign shipowners are realizing the value and advantage of setting up their businesses here in the country and having Filipino technical manpower as part of their business. VISI envisions to ride this booming trend and intends to provide excellent service to its clients and more employment opportunities to the Filipino workforce.
