Ben Gie Lines is a transport services provider, which is its primary purpose. It was established in the year 1991 having only one (1) unit of jeepney as a public transport plying Ormoc- Merida- LundagKalunasan - Can-untog route & vice-versa. With the desire of catering all the commuters, in 1999 the
company decided to add (1) unit which is a minibus. To expand the business another two (2) units
of bus were purchased in 2007. Due to the demand Ben Gie Lines acquired another (2) units minibus in 2010. Benigno Aquino III, it was implemented that all old units will be replaced effectively in 2016. By the year 2016, the company acquired two (2) new units of minibuses and three (3) new units of buses as a replacement of the old ones. In 2019, as the pandemic hits our country many of the businesses were affected, specifically the different transport services. By God's grace, the company was being hired by PASAR to follow the mandated protocol which was the social distancing. Also, in this year, the LTFRB released a new
memorandum to all proprietors that sets them as a corporation if there are more than five (5) units being operated and under five (5) units should be considered a cooperative. To comply with the memorandum, the company received its Certificate of Incorporation by Securities and Exchange Commission (Pasig City, Metro Manila) having company reg. cs20205409 (sec) on July 30, 2020. The company name was changed from Ben Gie Lines Company into ROBERGINIA TRANSPORT CORPORATION. In order to meet the demands of the workers in PASAR in 2021, the company got another (1) unit of private bus, and it was first released on December 5, 2021. The company vehicles were colored red with a Santo Niño image painted on it as it firmly believes that all the grace and success of the business relied on the mercy of the child Jesus. It has become the company’s patron saint for a long time. BenGie Lines was named after the proprietors' nicknames, Roberto "Ruben" and Virginia "Virgie" Matiga.
