South Korea is set to simplify visa application requirements for Filipino travelers.

SOUTH KOREA REMOVES BANK STATEMENT REQUIREMENT FOR FILIPINO VISA APPLICANTS

Beginning February 20, 2026, South Korea will no longer require Filipino visa applicants to submit three months of bank statements for all visa categories, making the application process more convenient and accessible.

Students may now provide either a school certificate or student ID, while group applicants will only need one shared set of documents. Employment papers will also no longer require an explanation letter as long as contact details are included.
