(PELCO 1), is an Electric Cooperative duly organized, incorporated, and registered pursuant to PD No. 269, as amended by PD No. 1645 and further amended by RA 10531. It is a Distribution Utility that caters electric service to the Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) in the Municipalities of Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, San Luis, and Sta. As of March 2021, the franchise area of PELCO 1 has a total of 110,028 MCOs composed of 103,033 Residences, 6,239 Commercial Establishments, 1,450 Public Buildings, 217 Street Lights, 58 Commercial High-Voltage Facilities, 10 Industrial High-Voltage Facilities, 9 Irrigation Facilities, 5 Industrial Establishments, 1 Irrigation High-Voltage Facility, 1 Industrial Special High-Voltage 1 Facility, 1 Industrial Special High-Voltage 2 Facility and 4 Public Buildings High-Voltage Facilities. Electricity is delivered to PELCO 1 from Masinloc Power Partners Co., Ltd (MPPCL) whose power plant is located in Masinloc, Zambales by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) through its facility located at Barangay San Jose Matulid, Mexico, Pampanga.

The Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO I) is one with the rural electrification movement in celebrating the 2026 National Cooperative and Mental Health Awareness Month. Together, we are forging the brightest tomorrow through governance that is stronger, service that is smarter, and a future that is brighter for all!

As part of the Week 2 celebration, PELCO I participated in the nationwide simultaneous virtual webinar via Zoom titled β€œTake It Easy, Mga Kasama sa EC! Year 6” on October 9, 2026, at the PELCO I–SMCGP Knowledge Center, Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Mexico, Pampanga.

The webinar provided participants with practical and actionable insights on managing stress, preventing burnout, and strengthening financial well-being, emphasizing the importance of caring for both mental and financial health in building a more resilient and productive workforce.

The Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO I) is one with the rural electrification movement in celebrating the 2026 National Cooperative and Mental Health Awareness Month. Together, we are forging the brightest tomorrow through governance that is stronger, service that is smarter, and a future that is brighter for all!

Kicking off the month-long celebration, PELCO I participated in the nationwide simultaneous local Electric Cooperative (EC) Fitness Events with an energetic Zumba session held on October 2, 2026, at the PELCO I Covered Court, Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Mexico, Pampanga.

The activity brought PELCO I personnel together through fitness, fun and camaraderie, promoting physical wellness, mental well-being, and a healthy work-life balance. More than just a fitness activity, the event symbolized the collective strength and energy of electric cooperatives moving together toward healthier individuals, stronger organizations, and better service to member-consumers.
