Flight 5053 (Narita-Manila)

Cebu Pacific flight 5J 5053 was cancelled after a bird hit one of the aircraft's engine upon take-off from the
Narita International Airport in Japan
at about 825pm (Narita time).

We regret the inconvenience the bird strike incident has caused our passengers.

Airline representatives are in the process of booking hotel rooms for affected passengers. They will also provide meals, refreshments and assist passengers. We will also give passengers a travel voucher that they may use for future flights.

Passengers will be flown back to Manila on Cebu Pacific flight 5J 5055 tomorrow (Mar 26) at 105pm (Narita time). ETA at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila is at 520pm.

We apologize once again to our passengers.
