t the former US Clark Air Base now known as Clark Freeport Economic Free Zone, and its neighbouring suburb Angeles City, a city that was built on its need for entertainment of US personnel with hundreds pf bars, restaurants, clubs and casinos in the heart of Angeles city. As our Director spoke to other business people and/or holiday makers or travellers, it became a common catch cry that the sometimes two to three hour, up to four hour trip of some 60 miles could be quite an unpleasant and uncomfortable trip, and everybody thought there must be a better way. Under Philippine law, whilst a hotel or business can own a limousine, it is only for that business's guests and should not be for third party hire. To have third party hire requires the company to be a licensed public transportation company. Normally registered cars have restrictions in Manila and can only drive on either an odd or an even day. Licensed public transportation vehicles, can drive 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no limousine companies in the Philippines that are licensed public transportation companies except now for Philippines Chauffeur Limousine Services Inc. The company is relatively a startup but it has acquired 9 stretched limousines out of the United States, predominantly Lincolns, and one Rolls Royce, and it has purchased 10 late model Bentleys and Rolls Royce for executive movements and several for weddings, and is also currently building a fleet of 10 vintage white Rolls Royce and Cadillacs predominantly for the wedding market. The company's short term target is to run 30 cars for two shifts a day by December 31, 2012 and run 100 cars by December 31st, 2013. All Philippines Chauffeur Limousine Services drivers are also trained in security, they are all armed with a 9mm G***k, and the company provides also the added benefit to it's customers that they are not only driven in comfort and style but they are safe from any unwanted intruders.
