ADVISORY:

Following the recent pronouncement from Malacanang, we will subscribe and abide on enhanced community quarantine for entire of Luzon.

JUST IN: Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo says President Duterte has ordered an enhanced community quarantine of entire Luzon.

Under enhanced community quarantine, the government says strict home quarantine will be implemented in all households, transportation will be suspended and provision for food and essential health services will be regulated.

The presence of uniformed personnel to enforce quarantine procedures will be heightened under enhanced community quarantine. | via Virgil Lopez/ GMA News Online

ADVISORY:

We at Aniceto Bus Line subscribes to the guidelines provided by the Department of Transportation. We are currently in coordination with PNP on the entry points soon to be identified.

For PUBs, should not be morethan 25 passengers including driver and conductor, one seat apart and without standing passengers.

Provincial buses to Metro Manila shall be terminated on the entry points as identified by PNP.

The following measures, first implemented following DOH's confirmation of first local COVID 19 case, shall continue to be implemented:

1. All PUV drivers and conductors to properly wear masks at all times while on duty;

2. All public transport and terminal operators to ensure and maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of PUB fleets and their premises on a daily basis and to provide disinfectants or sanitizers dispensers, for free use of passengers;

3. Posting of periodic announcements and precautionary remindersbin strategic-locations that could help prevent transmission of the virus; and

All PUV and terminal operators are encouraged to take other measures necessary to reduce the risk of transmission in public transportation.

ADVISORY:

Following the pronouncement made by President Duterte raising the Code Alert System for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID 19) in the country to Code Red sub level 2. Land, domestic air and domestic sea travel to and from Metro Manila shall be suspended from March 15, 2020 00:00H until April 14, 2020 23:59H, subject to daily review of IATF.

For the moment, we are business as usual (normal trip schedule) until 15 March 2020. Accordingly, we are coordinating with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) for developments and possible changes as may be deemed necessary to mitigate the impact to daily commuters.

We are one with the Philippine Government in essentially calling for a stricter implementation of preventive measure in order to slow down and eventually put a halt to the further spread of COVID 19. We are committed to provide safe and sanitary environment for our passengers and staff, whose health and well being is paramount.

We will keep you posted for updates as soon as they are available. Meanwhile, stay safe and be healthy!
