The Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines warned of a more than 30% increase in service rates as fuel prices continue to rise due to the Middle East crisis.

The percentage hike does not take into consideration yet this week’s fuel price increases.

The Gulf crisis means import delays which may displace trucking workers, according to CTAP.

We would like to inform you that due to the tensions in the Middle East we have experienced huge upsurge in global fuel prices. At present, fuel supply is quite limited due to the supply chain disruption.

Thus, we are compelled to implement a rate increase effective March 20, 2026. This price adjustment is necessary for us to continuously sustain our transport operations.
