Kawasan Falls, a popular tourist spot in the Municipality of Badian - Cebu was hailed among the 31 Most Beautiful Waterfalls in the World as published by Amanda OBrien on her blog, The Boutique Adventurer.

“Kawasan Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Philippines. You’ll find this stunning Asian landmark at the foot of the Mantalongon Mountain Range in Badian on Cebu Island,” the blog published.

Kawasan came in sixth (6th) which followed other popular waterfalls in the world, including Niagara Falls in Canada, Victoria Falls in Venezuela, and Yosemite Falls in the USA among others.

Businesses suffered so much from the pandemic, especially the tourism industry.

Fortunately, the industry is starting to slowly pick up since the reopening of our gates to foreigners and removal of travel restrictions. Everything is back to normal, and so is the horrible Metro Manila traffic!

One of the most common reasons why Filipinos refrain from traveling as much as they like is because of the hassle we need to go through just to get to the airport. The current price of gas is not helping either.

With the big losses in the past three years, it looks like the tourism industry could use a little help from the government. If there’s one thing that we can do for them, it is to improve the infrastructures that will reduce normal travel time and decongest the Metro Manila traffic.

If we can provide better access to ports and airports, it can encourage local and international travelers. Imagine if we can build alternative routes for vehicles coming from north and south Luzon, we might be able to see a significant change in support to leisure-related businesses.

The tourism industry was the first hit when the pandemic happened, and a lot of businesses were already closed. Now this time, here comes inflation. There is no guarantee that they can also survive another blow.

Wish ko lang!

If I were from Region 1, specifically in Ilocos Sur or La Union, I wish there's a way to get to Region 4A or Region 5 quickly! The soil in region 1 is parched, and there is hardly any vegetation except the leaves of to***co! ... In South Luzon -- in Laguna -- on the other hand, there are lush trees that comprise an orchard heavy with various fruits. In Quezon there are towering coconut trees. In Bicol, wow, there is the perfect cone -- the Mayon Volcano! ... It was my wish that there is a roadway that brings me to south Luzon in a breeze ... and brings me back home to La Union all in one day. ....

There is one piece of good news that would make my day. This so-called NLEX-SLEX Connector seems to be the realization of my dreams... Imagine traveling in just a few minutes from north to south, and from south to north.

To the builders of this Connector, I say: Do it fast! This should be one of the best tourism development at yearend 2022 or early 2023.
