Calling all the Local Association Members the Truck operators of the Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CTAP). Please be informed that a General Membership Meeting (Truck Operators Only) will be held on October 16, 2019, Wednesday, 9:00am at the Club Intramuros Golf Course, South Harbor, Manila relative to the Transport Crisis experienced by Truck Port Operators.

Various issues will be discussed such as but not limited to:

1. Truck Ban
2. TABS
3. MIP One Way Traffic Scheme at Isla Puting Bato.
4. Traffic Gridlock along R10 to Navotas due to the construction of Harbor Link Project.

News to truck owners. Worth to share is the information of what was petitioned to manila city with MTPB chairman just minutes ago. Officializing the issuance of travel permit to trucks with 4500kgs and above gross weight in Manila city. 1500php Monthly renewal fee of permit is required per truck. It is said that this is their way of analyzing and controlling the volume of trucks travelling through streets of Manila. It is yet to be filed and soon to be implemented.
