Acciona-EEI JV extended its support to the Summer Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program of Barangay Camachiles, a 10-day initiative designed to strengthen literacy skills and provide supplemental learning opportunities for young students. The program aims to help learners improve their foundational competencies, prepare for the upcoming academic year, and foster a stronger interest in reading. The initiative provides a reliable and cost-efficient water supply for irrigation while reducing dependence on fuel-powered systems. Through this effort, AEJV continues to contribute to the integration of renewable energy into local farming practices, leading to improved agricultural productivity, strengthened climate resilience, and long-term food security for the community.

In celebration of Earth Day 2026, Acciona-EEI JV, in partnership with Barangay Camachiles, conducted an environmental talk for children with the theme "Empowering Little Heroes of Change."

The activity introduced basic concepts of proper waste segregation, carbon literacy, and climate change in a simple and engaging manner. It aimed to encourage young participants to take small but meaningful actions in their daily lives to help protect the environment, fostering early awareness and a strong sense of responsibility for caring for our planet.

Acciona-EEI JV, in partnership with M.L. Bautista Optical Clinic, successfully conducted a series of optical missions under the Project La Vista Program: A Mission for a Better Vision.

Over 470 residents from Barangays Camachiles, Mabiga, San Francisco, and Santo Rosario received free eye check-ups and prescription eyeglasses tailored to their needs. The initiative also included screening for eye conditions such as cataracts and pterygium, with patients referred for further evaluation and possible treatment.

For many beneficiaries, the mission helped address long-standing vision problems that affect daily activities and overall quality of life. By bringing essential eye care services directly to the community, Project La Vista reduced barriers to access, particularly for residents who would otherwise have limited opportunities to receive professional optical care.

This initiative was made possible through the support of Dr. Ma. Lourdes Bautista and her team, as well as the barangay councils and staff, whose cooperation helped make the mission in their respective barangays a success. ✨

🌿 March Recap:

Acciona-EEI JV proudly joined the Earth Hour 2026 celebration at Clark Parade Grounds, led by the Clark Development Corporation, in support of the global call for environmental action.

As part of the event, the team set up an interactive booth where participants shared their personal pledges for environmental protection, small commitments that contribute to a bigger collective impact. The booth also featured community stargazing, environment-themed games, and eco-friendly prizes, creating an engaging space for learning about environmental and sustainability topics.

Through its participation, AEJV supports environmental awareness and encourages community action toward a more sustainable and resilient future.

🌿 March Recap:

In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, Acciona-EEI JV conducted a Women’s Leadership Training Workshop in Barangays Camachiles, Mabiga, and Santo Rosario.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the capacity of women as community leaders and active contributors to local development by equipping them with practical, skills-based knowledge on leadership, decision-making, self-awareness, and effective communication. It also highlighted the critical role of women in governance, economic participation, and socio-cultural development, encouraging women to take on more active roles in shaping their communities.

This activity was made possible through the support of Sir Genesis Villaflores, MA in Public Administration and MA in Transformational Leadership, who served as our lead trainer, as well as the active participation of women community and barangay leaders.

🌿 March Recap:

In support of Zero Discrimination Day, Acciona-EEI JV, in partnership with AMLAT Mabalacat, conducted an HIV/AIDS awareness seminar for residents of Barangay San Francisco, with Sir Edison Masanqui, HACT Case Manager, serving as our resource speaker.

The session provided accurate, evidence-based information about HIV and AIDS, helping address common myths and misconceptions while emphasizing the importance of prevention, early testing, and the promotion of a safe and stigma-free environment.

By strengthening awareness at the community level, the activity encouraged greater understanding, inclusivity, and shared responsibility in protecting public health and upholding the rights and dignity of persons living with HIV (PLHIV).
