You can get your 500YOC Pilgrim Passport from any of the following designated Jubilee Churches:
1. -Shrine of the Holy Cross and First Mass (Magallanes, Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte)
2. -The Maasin Cathedral–Diocesan Shrine of the Our Lady of the Assumption-Ang Mahal nga Patrona sa Maasin (Maasin City, Southern Leyte)
3. -San Isidro Chapel (Punta, Baybay City, Leyte)
4. -Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church (Hilongos, Leyte)
5. -Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church (Baybay City, Leyte)
6. -Santo Niño Church (Malitbog, Southern Leyte)
7. -Saint Joseph Church (Matalom, Leyte)
8. -Saint John the Baptist Church (San Juan, Southern Leyte)

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Limasawa 2D1N Excursion. For your reference; here is a sample 2D1N (2 days 1 night) Tour to Limasawa Island. You may organize your own, just make the necessary adjustments for distance from your place to Tacloban City (base computation). You need to contact a van (preferably Van Van that travels to Maasin City), so that it can still transport passengers (from time of your trip to Padre Burgos while waiting for your return trip to Tacloban City/your place the following day) - just bring extra cash for emergency.

NPC holds groundbreaking of solar power plant in Limasawa Island

NPC on Wednesday holds the groundbreaking ceremony for its first solar-diesel hybrid power plant in the historic island municipality of Limasawa in Southern Leyte.

The 54-million-peso project will have 120 kilowatt peak solar installation and 120 kWh energy storage system. It is expected to lower the prices of electricity for the island’s residents and promote further the use of renewable energy in the missionary areas.

Leading the ceremony were Southern Leyte Vice Governor Jessica E. Pano, Limasawa Mayor Melchor Petracorta, NPC’s Vice President for Power Engineering Services Atty. Rogel T. Teves and NPC’s Visayas Operations Department led by Engr. Pete Llorente. Also present were the local government units, residents of Limasawa and representatives from the Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative and the winning bidder for the project, Power Dimension, Inc.

WHILE YOU CAN GO SIGHT SEEING LIMASAWA by riding on a motorcycle or multi-cab; but, what is meant here is going by the sea to see the rocky shores

SIGHT SEEING THE SOUTHERN END OF LIMASAWA
When you do it on a small group - banca hire is distributed

Sea you soon 🌊💙 Talisay Beach
The eastern end of the Southern Rocky Shores near the Southern Lighthouse (walking due east a hundred mtrs)
When you ride on a motorized banca (pumpboat) from Triana port going to Magallanes port, you can see the 2.5- km. stretch of rocky shores from Cabulihan to Talisay, Magallanes with lots of rock formations, crystal clear blue-green waters, snorkeling and scuba diving sites, secluded and pristine beaches (though narrow and short)
