This November 13, 2019 will be the grand launching of the Quincentennial celebration of the Arrival of Sr. Santo Niño in Cebu.
📢Traffic Rerouting Announcement 📢 from Cebu City Transportation Office , CCTO (formerly CITOM) and Traffic Patrol Group, Cebu City Police, Cebu City wish to announce and inform the riding public that vehicular traffic will be re-routed temporarily due to the road closure along a.) Osmeña Blvd., from D. Jakosalem St. to P. Burgos St. and b.) P. Burgos St., from Legaspi St. to Magallanes St. on November 13, 2019 starting 8:00 in the morning until finish for the launching of “Santo Niño at 500”.
TRAFFIC RE-ROUTING
1. D. Jakosalem St. will be having a one-way vehicular flow from Osmeña Blvd. towards Legaspi St. and from Osmeña Blvd. to Magallanes St.
2. Passenger jeep coming from Carbon Area passing along M. C. Briones St., shall not be allowed to turn left to D. Jakosalem St.
3. Passenger jeep coming from Pit-os/Talamban with Route Nos. 13B, 62B, 62C and 65B while traversing along M.C. Briones St. shall go straight, left turn to Lapulapu St., left turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., to their usual route, then to their point of destination.
4. Passenger jeep coming from Banawa, Guadalupe and Capitol while traversing along M.J. Cuenco Ave., left turn to Osmeña Blvd., shall turn right to Lapulapu St., left turn to Legaspi St., left turn to Plaridel Extn., right turn to Osmeña Blvd., to their usual route, then to their point of destination. Except for Route Nos. 06A and 07A while traversing along Magallanes St., right turn to Calderon St., left turn to Lincoln St., left turn to F. Gonzales St., left turn to Magallanes St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
5. Passenger jeep coming from Alumnos with Route Nos. 08E and 08G while traversing along Colon St., shall turn right to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to V. Gullas St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin. While Route No. 08F while traversing along Colon St., shall turn left to Mabini St., right turn to Zulueta St., to V. Sotto St., left turn to S. Osmeña Blvd., to their usual route, then to their point of destination.
6. Passenger jeep coming from Basak with Route Nos. 09C while traversing along P. Burgos St., shall turn right to Legaspi St., left turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Magallanes St., then to their usual route, while Route Nos. 09H while traversing along Colon St., shall turn right to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Magallanes St., then to their usual route.
7. Passenger Jeep coming from Bulacao/Pardo with Route Nos. 10D and 10E while traversing along Colon St., shall turn right to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Magallanes St., then to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
8. Passenger Jeep coming from Inayawan with Route No. 11A while traversing along Magallanes St. shall turn left to Borromeo St., left turn to Colon St., then to their usual route, while Route No. 11D while traversing along Mabini St., shall turn right to V. Gullas St., right turn to Magallanes St., to their usual route, then back to their point of origin.
9. Passenger Jeep coming from Labangon with Route No. 12A, while traversing along Magallanes St., right turn to Calderon St., left turn to Lincoln St., left turn to F. Gonzales St., left turn to Magallanes St., then to their usual route, Route No. 12C passing along Colon St., shall turn right to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Borromeo St., then to their usual route. Route Nos. 12B, 12D and 12M passing along P. Burgos St., shall turn right to Legaspi St., left turn to Plaridel Extn., to Plaridel St., then to their usual route, Route No. 12J while traversing along Colon St., shall turn left to Mabini St., right turn to Zulueta St., to V. Sotto St., left turn to S. Osmeña Blvd., to their usual route, then to their point of destination and Route No. 12M passing along Sikatuna St., to Mabini St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Magallanes St. then to their point of origin.
II. Motorist, Drivers and other road users are advised to follow the traffic signs installed on the re-routing area.
