Very well said…dapat si Caloy ay hindi na muna e highlight para maging modelo sa mga younger generations…bilang isang anak, kahit na anupaman estorya or rason na mas pinili nya ang ibang tao at winalang bahala nalang pamilya nya salungat sa nakagisnan na nating kagandahang-asal sa kulturang Fiipino…

Success amplifies who we already are.

Kapag ang isang anak ay yumaman at pinili niyang tulungan ang kanyang magulang, it’s a reflection of gratitude

Some carry love and gratitude, while others carry pain or resentment, or maybe a need for independence.

Pero kahit anong kwento mo, hindi yan final.

You have the power to rewrite it.

Kaya mo magpatawad,

kaya mong maghilom,

at kaya mong piliin kung anong klaseng relasyon ang gusto mong buuin moving forward.

Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure. (Syempre sabi yan ni Tony Robbins)

So, tanong mo sa sarili mo:

How can I align my success with the deeper needs of my soul?

Paano ako makakacreate ng yaman, hindi lang financially, kundi emotionally, spiritually, at sa relationships ko?

Kasi kapag naabot mo ang balance na yan—yun ang tunay na success.

It’s never too late to reconnect, redefine, and rebuild.

Lahat yan magsisimula kapag pinili mong kumilos mula sa pagmamahal, hindi sa takot.

Remembering...

Levi Celerio (April 30, 1910 – April 2, 2002) was a Filipino composer and lyricist who is credited with writing over 4,000 songs. Celerio was recognized as a National Artist of the Philippines for Music and Literature in 1997.

He is also known for using the leaf as a musical instrument which led to being recognized as the "only man who could play music using a leaf" by the Guinness Book of Records. This led to him making guest appearances on television shows recorded outside the Philippines.

Aside from being a musician, Celerio was also a poet and a film actor who appeared in various Philippine films of the 1950s and 1960s.

Unique Filipino poet…

On April 2, 1788, Francisco Balagtas, also known as Francisco Baltazar (Baltasar), was born in Bulacan. Regarded as one of the foremost Filipino writers, his poetic masterpiece "Florante at Laura" (1838) remains a mainstay in Filipino schools to this day. His other notable works include the comedia "Orosman at Zafira" (1857-1860), and the play "La India elegante y el negrito amante."

Some of his works, however, were supposedly lost through the passage of time, including those which he apparently failed to finish.

Balagtas was said to have been a victim of injustice in the justice system of his time. He was imprisoned due to fabrications and trumped-up charges by his romantic rival for Maria Asuncion Rivera, the woman who Balagtas dedicated Florante and Laura to as "Selya." He would move from Manila to Bataan after his release, moving on as well from Rivera, and marrying a certain Juana Tiambeng in 1842. Misfortune trailed him, however, when he was imprisoned again in 1860, this time getting freed after selling off his possessions.

Balagtas died on February 20, 1862. His legacy in literature persisted long after. For one, it was said that Jose Rizal carried a copy of Florante at Laura with him to furnish his Tagalog skills. "Baltazar was no less a thinker than a poet," wrote Rizal in his own novel "Noli Me Tangere."

The term "Balagtasan" to refer to Filipino debates through poetic verse was believed to have been named in the honor of Balagtas. Francisco Balagtas Day was first designated as national in scope by virtue of Proclamation No. 24, s. 1966, signed by President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. for the "Prince of Filipino Poets."
