Mahigpit na ipatutupad ng DILG ang pagbabawal ng pag-inom ng alak sa kalsada at iba pang pampublikong lugar para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng komunidad.

Paiigtingin din ang pagpapatupad ng curfew para sa mga kabataan.

SIPALAY DISTRICT HOSPITAL TO BECOME ANNEX FACILITY FOR CLMMRH

The Department of Health (DOH) has put forward a plan to designate Merceditas J. Montilla District Hospital (MJMDH) in Sipalay City as an annex facility of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH).

In a letter to Negros Occidental Governor B**g Lacson, DOH-Negros Island Region Director Razel Nikka Hao requested provincial support for the initiative, which seeks to improve access to healthcare in Sipalay and neighboring areas.

Under the proposed setup, MJMDH’s ground floor will offer general hospital services, while the second floor will house a dedicated Psychiatric Unit.

Hao also called for a joint technical review and exploratory discussions involving hospital management, CLMMRH representatives, and DOH officials to assess the feasibility of the plan.

Lacson said that he is carefully evaluating the proposal and has expressed initial support for the concept.

Most Populous Cities in the Negros Island Region According to the Philippine Statistics Authority - NIR

In Negros Occidental, excluding the City of Bacolod, the largest city/municipality in terms of population size is the City of Kabankalan with 210,893 persons.

It is followed by the City of Bago with 192,993 persons and the City of Cadiz with 161,558 persons, both in the province of Negros Occidental.

Four from Southern Negros Occidental and four from Northern Negros Occidental. Only Cauayan is the not a city.

Eight from Negros Occidental and two from Negros Oriental.
