Company Profile: Asia Gold Corporation is one of North Luzon’s leading distributor of agricultural products (from Bayer, Dupont, Syngenta, and other multinational companies) with operations extending from Aparri of Cagayan Region to Bicol. We continue looking for opportunities that would grow our business, like producing our own variety of chemical products and acquiring distribution rights to several consumer businesses like San Miguel Beer, Ginebra San Miguel and Sun Cellular products. Company Roots: We trace our beginning to Mr. Abelardo Lim who founded Abelardo Enterprises in the 1950’s, initially a ricemill and eventually ended up carrying several product line-ups of Bayer, Hoechst, and fertilizers from the then government owned and operated company, Philphos Inc,. In 1998, a generation later, Abelardo Enterprises became Asia Gold Trading Corporation, with the business more than tripling in volume becoming one of the biggest, if not the biggest in Northern Luzon. We mainly engage in wholesaling with a few retail stores, which we are planning to increase in number. Business Scope: Our diverse workforce consist of about 100 full-time employees. Our sales has reached the billion peso mark since 2005. Our marketing network has spread from Isabela-Cagayan region to Bulacan in Luzon.
